Jolie Adamson

Jolie Adamson, SAG- AFTRA & AEA lives to PERFORM!

Born into a musical family, residing on the shores of sunny San Clemente, California, Jolie grew up in an environment where acting, singing & dancing were a day-to-day part of life. At San Clemente High School (SCHS) Jolie performed in major Musical Theatre productions, garnering Lead roles in "Footloose" and "Anything Goes." As a Section Leader of SCHS Madrigals Choir, she sang on tour in Ireland and in New York City. She contributed to Ensemble pieces at Carnegie Hall performing with the Madrigals in a National Choir. Jolie sang The National Anthem at major UCI & SCHS Sporting Events, including the CIF Finals.

By request, Jolie has sung the National Anthem at many public venues (ATP L.A. Farmers Mens’ Tennis Open, WTA Mercury Insurance Women’s Tennis Open and Santa Barbara Polo Finals), performed dozens of solos in churches across Southern California and donated her talent to Charitable Events. She has competed in “The Spotlight Awards”, held at The Walt Disney Hall, Los Angeles and  “Singer of the Year”, held by Rotary District 5320, where she took the Bronze Medal in Musical Theater. Summer of 2009 she studied Opera in Viterbo, Italy with the International Lyric Academy of Rome and Viterbo, Italy (ILAR). Jolie enjoyed that wonderful experience and is therefore continuing her private Classical Voice training of six years.

Although her primary training is in Classical Voice and Musical Theatre, Jolie has a passion for Pop and R&B. She had an opportunity to explore that passion and now has two Original Songs on You Tube, ”Armour” with a Music Video which has nearly 1.25 million hits and “Patient Rain” with raw footage from the first ever UCI Talent Show.

Jolie has worked in film since she was thirteen yrs old. In 2010 she was accepted into AFTRA, in 2011 qualified for SAG, in 2012 she was granted AEA status. Since achieving Union Status, Jolie has been on Disney’s Shake it Up, CBS The Sing Off’s Title Sequence and debuted on Criminal Minds in the Guest Star role of Georgina Yates, which is now in re-runs.

Jolie acts and sings from her heart and believes that she can accomplish anything with her faith. Currently a Junior at University of California Irvine (UCI), Jolie is Majoring in Theatre Arts.
